Immediately After Appointment

• Expect mild swelling and redness for the first 24–48 hours.
• The liner will appear darker and slightly thicker initially. This softens as it heals.
• Avoid touching the area with unclean hands.

First 7-10 Days

Keep the area clean and dry

Our eyes are an especially sensitive area prone to attracting all types of debris of varying shapes and sizes. It’s also an area that we often touch throughout the day, incidentally or not. Given it’s our most exposed area of our body, it is critical our permanent eyeliner patients actively keep this area clean and dry to allow for proper healing and avoid any potential complications in the healing process. On top of keeping the area clean, here are some things you’ll want to avoid once you get your permanent eyeliner:

THINGS TO AVOID

• Eye makeup
• Mascara
• Lash serums
• Lash extension
• Swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas
• Excess sweating (heavy workouts)
• Do not rub, pick, or scratch the liner while healing.

Cleaning

• Gently cleanse with sterile water or saline and a clean cotton pad if needed.
• Pat dry — do not wipe aggressively.

Healing Process

• Days 3–5: liner may flake slightly or appear patchy.
• Days 7–14: color softens and settles.
• Final healed results appear in 4–6 weeks.

Touch-Up

A perfecting session is required at 6–8 weeks to adjust color, density, or symmetry.

Important Final Note

Avoid lash lifts, lash extensions, or growth serums until fully healed.
