Microblading FAQs
What is Microblading?
Microblading is an advanced brow technique which uses a superfine row of needles to deposit pigments into the epidermis creating thin, hair-like semi-permanent marks which lasts up to 12-18 months.
Does it Hurt?
Most clients report little or no pain! We use a topical anesthetic before the procedure to numb the affected area.
How long does it last?
Microbladed eyebrows last 12 to 18 for most people.
Who is ineligible for microblading?
Microblading is not recommended for those with oily skin or large pores. If that’s you, you may want a shading or combination shading and microblading technique. We also do not provide microblading for people: under 18 years old, pregnant or nursing, if you have diabetes, glaucoma, skin diseases such as Shingles, psoriasis or eczema on the area of treatment, allergies to makeup, Keloid disorder, HIV/Hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or if you’re taking skin medications like ro-accutaine and steroids.
Does it look like REAL Hair?
It usually takes 2 hours, with most of the time spent going over colors and drawing eyebrow shapes. The microblading portion lasts 30-45 minutes.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Before your appointment, we highly encourage our clients to check out our Instagram and “shop” for eyebrows on our feed. Eyebrows comes in many shapes and styles, from feathered to bold, arched to straight. Our microblading artists will work with you to customize your best brows. In the week before your appointment, we recommend avoiding blood thinners, aspirin, alcohol or using retinol creams.
Can I get micorblading performed if I am pregnant?
No, we do not recommend microblading while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Eyelash Extensions and Eyelash Lift FAQs
What are lash extensions?
Lash Extensions are individual strands of synthetic fibers made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. The single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.
How long do lash extensions last?
When applied by one of our Amazing professionals, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills should only be required every 2 to 4 weeks.
Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?
We do ask you to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 48 hours of wear. After that 48-hour period, the adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. However, keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as in saunas or certain facials is recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.
How do I choose the look I want?
Your technician will consult with you to understand what type of style you are interested in and what look will work best with your natural lashes. The overall look of the lashes can range from very natural to very voluminous!
How do I clean my lash extensions?
Wet your eyes with cool water. Take a very, very small amount of approved lash cleanser and lather it up on your palm. Apply this to both eyes, one at a time, splashing it over them. Don’t rub them like you’re washing hair though; just gently splash it over your closed eyes. If your eyes still feel grubby, repeat
