Microblading Before and After

How Your Microblading Satisfaction Begins With An Outline

Microblading before and after transformations are powerful experiences for both us the artists and our clients. The pure joy on a client’s face when they finally see their results though begins much earlier in the process of your brow transformation. One of the main things our clients talk about fearing is the “permanent” aspect of permanent makeup. But understanding one of the first stages of the microblading process is crucial to maximizing these before and after transformations/results. If you want to learn more about one of the stages of microblading that we focus on in order to reduce some of the perceived fears for our clients, keep reading! Shape Outline & Design

Microblading before and after information rarely, if ever, includes information about one of the most important parts of the process which would fall into the “Before” area: The designing and outlining of the shape of your brow before proceeding with the actual service. We heard from some of our clients who hesitated for a lengthy period of time (years in some cases), that they were afraid to get microblading because they just didn’t understand what the process was like. One interesting way to illuminate this part of the process is to show you a progression of this part of the process in image form. We found this particularly effective for clients who:

    • had any hesitation about the overall shape of the brow
    • the permanent nature of the result
    • and any worry about the possibility of the brow ending up in a shape they may not like – at which point they’d be stuck with it

These are valid ideas but the designing/outlining of your brow shape led by your highly experienced artist is very  involved and your input along with their training and experience drives the final look. Based on the conversation and feedback your artist receives, they incorporate that into their final design – one that will be actually meticulously outlined on your brow to give you an actual look of what the final shape will be once the service is complete. All of this occurs in your first session before we begin. This is further adjusted in your follow up sessions, your “perfection session”, based on a similar process.

      BEFORE

In this first image in the progression, we can see the client before anything has been done. It’s at this stage that we have our discussion about design. This can last 30 minutes or up to an hour. But this is not something we limit. We know this is a crucial part of the process. Our artist will guide you during this consultation phase directing you to the best shape that highlights your natural beauty and will ultimately give you the best brow shape possible. This is done with a focus on symmetry. But we also are very eager to incorporate any feedback in this process if you feel strongly about the shape.

We think of this as a co-creation with your involvement being as little or as much as you’d like and are comfortable. We are adjusting, pausing, and adapting the design the entire time we are drawing. Nothing is done until this drawing is approved by you. This way you can be fully confident in the result which erodes any percieved fear that your brow could be something you didn’t like.

      AFTER 1ST SESSION

As you can see in this second image, the result this client ultimately approved of has been applied with immediately noticeable results. As mentioned, we aim to deliver a look that highlights your natural beauty for a bold, new look. This is why the entire process start to finish from drawing consulting to end of this first session can run as long as 3 hours if need be. Whatever it takes for you to feel comfortable will committ to your appointment.

      PERFECTION SESSION

In this final image, you can see the progression of this client’s brows after the perfection session. This is the time used in your follow up appointment to do any microadjustments that may be needed to fulfill the name of the session: to “perfect” the result based on the original design. You can also use this time if you have anything you want your artist to know or potentially adjust.
